East & West Alum Craft Ltd. is looking for a Glass Wall Installer to join our team.
Title: Glass Wall Installer
Employer: East & West Alum Craft Ltd.
Opening: 2 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Wage: CAD 29.50 – CAD 31.50 per hour
Working hour: At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of vacation pay, extended health, dental and vision care benefits after probation
Location: 7465 Conway Avenue, Burnaby, BC V5E 2P7
Work location: Candidates will be required to work at various locations in Greater Vancouver area.
Requirements
- Secondary school education is an asset
- Previous work experience in related field is an asset
- On-the-job training will be provided
Main Duties:
- The ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications to establish the type and thickness of glass, frame, installation method and necessary materials.
- Produce aluminum frames for glass installation
- Install, fit, manufacture, and attach aluminum glass walls in commercial and residential buildings.
- Install pre-made aluminum glass panels in frames to form building exterior
- Fix and service windows for residential, commercial, and different types of glass supporting shapes, and restore damaged aluminum framed glass wall
