Greenhouse Labourer

Blue Grass Ltd. is seeking a Greenhouse Labourer to work in our greenhouse and nursery. Tasks will include: cleaning plants, cleaning facility, weeding, assisting in pruning of trees, shrubs and plants, potting plants, watering, applying fertilizers, tending to lawns and gardens, reporting signs of insect or disease damage. No experience or education required as training will be provided. However previous experience or knowledge of plant material is an asset.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment, that is physically demanding as well as being reliable, hard working and a team player are very important. Ability to bend, lift, crouch, kneel for extended periods. This is a seasonal position up to 6 months running May-October offering full time hours plus over-time. Typical work week will be 6 days (Monday – Saturday) for a minimum of 8-12 hours a day. Steel-toed footwear is required.
