• Prepare soil; plant bulbs, seeds and cuttings; graft and bud plants; and transplant seedlings and rooted cuttings
• Spray trees, shrubs, flowers and plants to prevent disease and pests
• Position and regulate greenhouse and outdoor irrigation systems and hand watering system to water plants inside and fields outside
• Organize and restock plants for resale for the following day and as needed if inventory is needed urgently
• Dig, cut and transplant trees, shrubs, flowers and plants and prepare them for sale
• May operate tractors and other machinery and equipment to fertilize, cultivate, harvest and spray fields and plants
• Maintain inventory and order materials as required
• Clean working areas
• Other duties that apply
Job Requirements:
• Punctual
• Attention to detail
• Work as a team and alone
• Able to lift 50lbs. repeatedly
• No allergies to plants
• Weekend, early morning and evening shift work is required as well as overtime as needed.
• Positive attitude and team player
• Able to communicate in English
