EL Hair Salon is looking for full-time permanent hairstylists to join the team as soon as possible.

Location: 2893 E 1st Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5M 1A9
Hourly rate: $18.00 – $20.00 / hour (To be negotiated)
Vacancies: 2
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time (30- 40 hours / week)
Start date: As soon as possible
Work setting: hairstyling salon
Benefit: 4 percent of total wages for vacation pay
Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods
Job Duties
• Analyze hair and scalp condition and perform basic treatment
• Consult clients about scalp or hair conditions
• Suggest hairstyle compatible with client's physical traits
• Listen to clients' preferences to determine the hair style
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to color, frost or streak hair
• Apply hair extensions
• Shampoo customers' hair
