The Handover Quality Manager role requires specialized skills for navigating project quality activities in a high-value civil infrastructure project. Providing clear guidance and governance throughout the project lifecycle is crucial, ensuring handover deliverables meet quality standards, adhere to deadlines, and align with stakeholder goals. Decisive decision-making is essential due to the role's significant impact on current and future projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and manage the entire handover and closeout process for a complex and high-value civil infrastructure project, ensuring all client and stakeholder sign offs are achieved.
  • Develop and manage handover framework strategies.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure all project deliverables meet established standards and specifications.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of project documentation to identify and address any discrepancies or deficiencies.
  • Collaborate with project teams to establish and maintain quality assurance protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and lead regular quality audits to assess compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate subcontractors and vendors to ensure their work aligns with project quality standards.
  • Facilitate communication between different project stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive handover documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams on quality management best practices and procedures.
  • Implement corrective actions and improvement plans based on lessons learned and feedback from previous projects.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to develop and update project quality plans and standards for future projects.
  • Conduct closeout meetings for project staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years of directly related work experience, in a similar senior leadership role, earned on complex and high value P3 JV civil infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise and detailed knowledge of civil project construction involving tunnelling and/or deep excavation.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and overseeing the handover phase of complex projects.
  • ISO 9000/9001 certification or similar quality management credential
  • Excellent attention to detail, and communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
