Grounds for coffee Inc. dba Grounds for coffee is seeking a full-time Head Baker
Position: Head Baker
Number of Positions: 1
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Educational and Experience Requirements:
Completion of Secondary school is required
AND
Either:
Completion of a college or other program for bakers
or
Over 2 years of experience as a baker is required.
Language Requirements: English
Start date: ASAP
Wage: $20.10/hour
Hours: 30-40 hours per week including Early Morning (from 4:30am) and Weekend

Job Duties:
– Prepare dough for Cinamon buns, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes
– Bake mixed doughs and batters
– Frost and decorate Cinamon buns or other baked goods
– Ensure quality of products meets established standards
– Draw up production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods to produce
– Purchase baking supplies
– Oversee sales and merchandising of Cinamon buns and other baked goods
– Hire, train and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
– Oversee maintenance of all equipment
– Oversee kitchen operations and create a daily kitchen schedule
– Coordinate with other departments to meet production targets and deadlines.
– Handle customer inquiries and special orders.
– Ensuring all equipment, floors and surfaces are kept clean and pest-free on a daily basis
