Hiring a CAD (Computer Aided Design) Technician
Qualifications:
– Completion of secondary school is required.
– Completion of a one- to two-year college program in drafting or Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program or Four to five years of related experience plus completion of college or industry courses in drafting is required.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and prepare 3D floor drawings, plans, diagrams or layouts from sketches, also include 2D rendering, space rendering, space planning and etc.
– Operate and in charge of CAD program/equipment to revise multiple drawing as per the request of clients
-Use Sketch up 3D in conjunction with CAD to create 3D floor plans complete with furniture, fixtures, doors and windows
– Create, modify and use dynamic blocks to aid in the design of commercial, residential and industrial buildings
-Prepare contracts and tender documents relating to executing design
– Complete floor plans using measurements from field technicians and CAD tools such as hatching, dimensioning, dynamic blocks and viewports
-Prepare construction site specification, source materials and estimates
– Troubleshoot and resolve issues that field technicians encounter while using
CAD on-site
Working Condition:
– 30 working hours per week (Full-time & Permanent position),
– Wage and Benefit: $32.31/hr, 10 days paid vacation or 4% of vacation fee
