Description
Job Title: Cook
Salary: $15.00/hr
Working Hours: 40 hrs per week, Full-time, Permanent
Position Available: 1
Benefit: 10 days paid vacation
Work Location: FC-11 2002 Park Royal South, West Vancouver, BC V7T 2W4
Main duties:
-Prepare and cook a wide range of Japanese dishes.
-Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
-Plan menu, determine the size of food portions and estimate food costs and requirements.
-Ensure the operation level of profitability and customer satisfaction.
-Clean kitchen and work area.
-Perform related work as required.
Requirements:
-Completion of Secondary School
-English is required
-Several (2-3 years) years of commercial cooking experience
OR
Completion of a 3-year apprenticeship program for cooks
OR
Completion of a college or other programs in cooking
