Hours: 40 hours per week

Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Home Child Care Provider to join our family. This full-time role is based in Vancouver South, BC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the well-being, development, and daily care of our child, along with helping manage household tasks in the parents’ absence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for our child in a safe, supportive home environment
• Plan and lead age-appropriate recreational and educational activities, such as arts and crafts, storytelling, outdoor play, and local outings
• Escort our child to and from school, extracurricular activities, and medical appointments as needed
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs
• Monitor our child’s daily routines, including homework, hygiene
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in children's play areas, bedrooms, and common spaces
• Perform light household tasks including laundry and tidying up after meals and activities
• Report on our child’s daily activities, moods, behaviors, and any health concerns
• Take full responsibility for the household and our child’s care during parents’ absence

Qualifications:

• Secondary school
• Previous child care experience is highly preferred
• Reliable, responsible, and genuinely passionate about working with children
