Description
Khushdeep Sran is looking for full-time and permanent 1 Home Child Care provider Abbotsford, BC V2T 6M6 . (Even though this is a full-time position we encourage part time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is $20.00/hr and 30 -40 hours/week.
Job Description:
- Ensure that the child is safe and everyday needs are met- this may include diapering, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Supervising and ensuring the safety of children at all times.
- Engage in positive interaction with children to build confidence and self-esteem.
- Monitor children throughout the day and ensure safety at all times.
- Provide guidance with safe hygiene practices.
- Plan, lead, and guide activities throughout the day.
- Keeping parents informed about the child’s daily activities, progress, and any issues or concerns.
- Monitoring the health of children and reporting any concerns to parents.
- Washing and organizing children’s clothing, bedding, and toys.
- Encouraging good manners and positive behavior.
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks.
Employment Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school required.
- Childcare or household management experience may be an asset.
