Wage: $19.00 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week
Vacation: 10 days paid vacation or 4% vacation pay as per Employment Standards
Job Description
We are a family looking for a caring, responsible, and reliable individual to help care for our young child (around 4 years old). Our home is warm and welcoming, and we hope to find someone who can become part of our child’s daily life and growth.
Responsibility:
- Provide attentive care for one preschool-aged child
- Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks
- Assist with daily routines, including personal hygiene
- Organize and oversee play, educational, and recreational activities (arts & crafts, reading, games, outings)
- Offer emotional support and encourage social development
- Keep the home safe and tidy, light housekeeping related to childcare
- Occasionally accompany child to appointments
Job Requirements:
- Secondary School Education.
- Previous childcare experience preferred.
- Criminal record checks and references may be required.
- Must be patient, caring, and reliable.
