Home Support Worker
We are looking for a full-time, permanent Home Support Worker in Kelowna, BC.
Job Details
- Position: Home Support Worker (NOC 44101, Full-Time & Permanent)
- Wage: $24.00/hour
- Working hours: 30 hours per week
- Employer: Kyuchul Lee dba Home Caregiver support
- Work Location: 5026 France Crt, Kelowna, BC V1W 4M4
- Vacation: 4% of gross salary
- Number of Positions: 1
Requirements
- Completion of secondary school
- Minimum 6 months of experience in household management OR Completion of a training program in care of the elderly or a person with disabilities, or a related field is required
- Language: English is required
- Credentials: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Criminal Record Check, BC Driving License
Job Duties
- Help with personal care, including walking, bathing, and dressing
- Prepare and cook meals, and assist with feeding
- Assist with daily activities to keep clients comfortable and well
- Handle housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and making beds
- Ensure the home environment is safe and healthy
- Perform daily health duties under professional supervision
- Support with doctor’s appointments and treatments
