Description
We are looking for one responsible caregiver to help take care of our two adult children with a disability in Bracebridge, ON.
Work in employer’s/client’s home, Public transportation is available, Willing to travel, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is not a condition of employment
Terms of employment: Full time, Permanent, Day, Evening, Flexible, Shift
Wage: $21.90/Hour @ 30 – 44 hours per week
Education: Secondary (high) School Certificate, College or other courses related in home support
Work experience: 6 Months work experience is preferred, Vulnerable sector check required
Target Audience: Persons with a disability, Persons with physical disabilities, Males, Females
Languages: English
Job duties: Assist clients in water (i.e. pool), Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder), Feed or assist in feeding, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Plan therapeutic diets and menus, Provide companionship, Provide personal care, Shop for food and household supplies, Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
