Job Duties:
· Supervise housekeeping staff, providing guidance and assigning tasks to room attendants, cleaners, and laundry personnel.
· Ensure adherence to motel's cleanliness and hygiene standards in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
· Conduct inspections to identify areas that require improvement and implement corrective measures.
· Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and motel policies.
· Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
· Create and manage work schedules for housekeeping staff to ensure adequate coverage and rotation.
· Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including room occupancy, cleaning schedules, and staff attendance.
· Address guest inquiries and concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
· Enforce health and safety regulations, conducting regular training and audits for a safe working environment.
· Assist in controlling housekeeping expenses within budgetary guidelines.
