Position: Information technology (IT) security consultant (NOC 21220)
Location: 202-8556 120 Street, Surrey, BC, V3W 3N5
Job type: Permanent, full-time
Wage: $41-$43/hour, 30-40 hours/week
Language: English
Task:
- Communicate with clients to identify and document needs and requirements
- Assess physical and technical security risks of company’s products
- Install, test and operate security software and tools such as anti-virus and automated threat detection/prevent systems to ensure system security measures are in place and working as intended
- Monitor access and credentials for information and systems
- Monitor for cyber attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized or illegal activity
- Document computer security and emergency measures policies, procedures, and tests
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer security, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related position
