Position Info:

• Position: Acupuncturist
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $34.00~$37.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 102-2764 Barnet Hwy, Coquitlam, BC V3B 1B9

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Diagnose the diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients and treat them
• Treat patients by the insertion of acupuncture needles or through stimulation techniques
• Provide other alternative forms of health care to patients
• Guide patients on the use of herbs for the treatment of conditions
• Diagnose illnesses and treat them by administering, in chemical or herbal form, a small dosage of the illness itself

 Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Education: Completion of a three-year diploma program in acupuncture from a private institute or completion of some university undergraduate studies in science and training in a related health care discipline or work experience under the supervision of a registered acupuncturist
• Certificate: Registration with College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturist of British Columbia is required
