Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: $35.66 Hourly, for 30.00 Hours per week
Available positions: 1
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: 3157 Kingsway. Vancouver B.C. V5R 5K2
Education: Completion of a bachelor's degree or a college diploma in the field of instruction is required.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience is required.
Languages: Oral and Written English is required
Duties:
– Teach students using a systematic plan of lectures, demonstrations, discussion groups, shop sessions, seminars, case studies, field assignments and independent or group projects
– Develop curriculum and prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses
– Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress
– Advise students on program curricula and career decisions
– Provide individualized tutorial or remedial instruction to students who require it
– Supervise teaching assistants
– Supervise independent or group projects.
– May provide consultation services to government, business and other organizations
– May serve on committees concerned with matters such as budgets, curriculum revision, and course and diploma requirements.
