Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $17.62~$20.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 3692 West 4th Avenue, Vancouver BC V6R 1P1

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• prepare entire meals or single servings of dishes and food items
• Keep the track of supplies and equipment stocks, and purchase
• Provide instruction and guidance to employees on how to prepare, cook, and handle food
• Make sure kitchen and work areas always sanitized
• Oversee kitchens and food service area
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
