Kaya Sushi and Grill is seeking a F/T Restaurant Manager.

Position Info:

• Position: Restaurant Manager 
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent 
• Wage: $37.00-39.00/hour (depending on experience) 
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week 
• Number of Positions:  1 
• Work Location: 101-1730 Pier Mac Way, Kelowna, BC V1V 3E7

Job Duties:

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth service and a positive dining experience for guests
• Develop and maintain service standards, operating procedures, and workflow practices aligned with restaurant’s overall goals
• Manage staff scheduling, assign shift duties, and provide ongoing supervision and feedback
• Hire, train and orient new employees to ensure they understand their roles, service expectations, and workplace procedures
• Monitor inventory levels and ingredient freshness, review revenue and cost trends, and recommend operational or purchasing adjustments
• Handle customer issues promptly and professionally while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food sanitation requirements
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and coordinate effective communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams to support efficient service flow

Job requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years of related experience including supervisory experience is required 
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required 
• Language: English
