One year to three years of Apprenticeship Program, OR Industry courses in crane operation/operator

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses 

Mobile Crane Operator Trade Certification

Tasks

• Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials
• Assemble tower cranes on site
• Perform pre-operational inspection, and calculate crane capacities and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting
• Perform routine maintenance work
