Papa Johns Pizza in Langley (Yorkson), BC is looking to fill Kitchen Helper and Food Counter Attendant/Dishwasher (NOC-65201) positions immediately. The main duties of these positions are:
Kitchen helpers and dishwasher perform some of the below mentioned duties:
- Take customers’ orders and receive payment for food items purchased.
- Wash, peel, grind, store, stack and prepare vegetables, and other ingredients used by the chef.
- Wash, clean, spray and sanitize workstations, table, knifes, dough machine, other equipment, and appliances.
- Prepare and slap dough, prepare and fill toppings, make and cut pizza.
- Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers, replace garbage bags.
- Help brining store supplies into the store, unpack and store supplies/groceries in refrigerators, cooler, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Sweep, mop and sanitize the floors, and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff.
- Clear and clean and sanitize tables in the dining area and make pizza boxes.
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pizza pans by hand
- Place dishes in storage area, may dry or wipe them.
- Make take out orders ready or may assist delivery drivers.
Employment requirements
Education: Secondary school education is recommended but not required.
Experience: 1-2 years related experience may assist but not required
On-the-job training is provided.
Opportunity to move up to the cook and supervisory position is possible with further training and experience.

Salary: 16.75 per hour ($ 34, 840 per year) or depends on experience
Language: English (may consider no language for dishwasher position)
Benefits: 4% vacation, 5 days of paid sick leave, WCB insurance coverage and all other benefits according to BC Work Standards Act.
