Working Hours: 40hrs per week
Wage: $22~$25 per hour (overtime wage will be applied after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week)
Benefits: 4% of each gross payroll / Extended medical insurance

Opened in 2002 in the heart of Little Italy, Dolce Amore has grown from a local scoop shop to an artisanal crafter of Vancouver's first and only Grass-Fed gelato. Daniela (Grippo) Cusano has grown up producing gelato since the age of 14, and now along with her husband Giancarlo, these Carpigiani Gelato University Graduates look to welcome you in to savour their ever-changing gelato creations. Main duties
- Managing inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service
- Hiring new staff and providing training to facilitate quick acclimation
- Streamlining the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times
- Working with the Head Chef to develop and maintain the restaurant menu
- Setting regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels
- Creating schedules for all kitchen staff
- Tracking kitchen finances to identify areas of potential waste
Requirements
- Completion of secondary school
- Flexible availability for weekends & holidays
- Food safe level 1
- 2-3 years of experience in food preparation/service is required
