Laugh and Learn Children Centre is looking for a Full-Time Early Childhood Educator
Position Information
- Position: Early Childhood Educator
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $20.00 ~ $26.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hour: 30 – 40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 1

Job Duties:
- Plan and implement childcare programs to promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children and operate at all times in compliance with all childcare licensing standards
- Responsible for the constant supervision, security, and well-being of children
- Assess the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss problems/progress with parents and with management regularly
- Observe and responds to the needs of each child
- Recognize behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents
- Assist and encourage children to learn proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- Establish and maintain weekly and monthly activities
- Maintain a collaborative relationship with co-workers
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by management
Position Requirements:
- Experience: Experience is an asset
- Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required
- Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and E.C.E. Certificate
- Language: English
