We are now seeking a skilled and passionate Licensed Optician to join us.
Position Overview:
Salary: $27 per hour
Number of vacancies: 1
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
Language of work: English
Start Date: As soon as possible
Working hours: 35-40 hours

Responsibilities:
· Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit their prescription and lifestyle needs.
· Obtain specifications and interpret optical prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists.
· Perform precision fitting, adjustments, and repairs to eyeglasses.
· Provide personalized service and professional advice on eye care and eyewear maintenance.
· Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of transactions.
· Ensure compliance with all industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
· At least completion of a college program in ophthalmic dispensing or optical programs.
· A valid Optician License from the College of Opticians of British Columbia is required.
· Friendly and detail-oriented.
· Good communication skills.
· A positive attitude and ability to work as a team.
