Description
Position: Cook
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $15.00-$19.00/hour (depending on Experience)
Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
Benefits:
- 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook complete meals and dishes and orders
- Oversees kitchen operations
- Train and supervise kitchen helpers
- Maintain kitchen inventory, supplies and equipment
- Maintain good sanitation around work area
- May assist in planning new menus and regulate size of food portions
- Order kitchen supplies and equipment when needed
- Place cooked food in containers and place them in display area
Job requirements:
- 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
Educational Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
