Line Cook

Description

Hiraku Sushi in Coquitlam, BC is looking for a qualified Line Cook to join our team.

 

Conditions:

 

·      Position: LINE COOK

·      Vacancy: one (1)

·      Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

·      Compensation: $17.62 to $19 per hour

·      Work hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

·      Vacation: 4% of gross salary for vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation

·      Work Location: Coquitlam, BC

 

Job Duties:

 

·      Prepare and cook Japanese food items from menu including roll, donburi, teriyaki, salads, tempura, etc.

·      Make adjustment to food items to accommodate customers with dietary restrictions

·      Supervise and train kitchen helpers regarding food preparation

·      Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

·      Ensure food quality and food safety

·      Clean kitchen and work area

 

Requirements:

 

·      Completion of secondary school

·      A minimum of 2 year of commercial cooking experience

·      English skills
