LIVE-IN CAREGIVER WANTED
Looking for a caring, punctual, and reliable Live in Caregiver to support a 48 year old muscular dystrophy patient in all aspects of daily living.
Expected Tasks:
- Administer bedside and personal care
- Administer medications
- Transfer from bed to commode and wheelchair as needed
- Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene Assist in regular range of motion exercise
- Feed
- Launder clothing and household linens
- Mend clothing and linens
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Plan therapeutic diets and menus
- Provide companionship
- Provide personal care
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder) Change non-sterile dressings
- Collect specimens
Language:
- English and Hindi
- South East Asian Culture and cuisine familiarity preferred
Work Location:
- Christie Park, Calgary, AB
- Fully furnished bedroom with access to common infrastructure will be provided.
Salary:
- $20 per hour for a total of 50 hours per Week
- Permanent employment
- Full time
