Wages
$0.55 commission per mile / 35 to 40 hours per Week
Overtime as applicable 1.5 times of regular wage rate

Responsibilities Tasks
Mountain driving expertise, Professionalism in customer service, Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
Load and unload goods, Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Perform brake adjustments, Perform emergency roadside repairs, Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, Perform preventive maintenance, Receive and relay information to central dispatch
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, Transport and handle dangerous goods
Credentials
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
Class A or Class 1 License id required
Defensive Driving Course
Experience and specialization/Documentation knowledge
Accident or incident reports, Bill of lading
Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
