Job Description:

 

·        Drive commercial truck-trailer units’ long haul to transport various goods and materials to various destinations across USA/Canada;

·        Responsible for completion of paperwork such as freight bill, load sheet, log books, Bill of lading and Trans-border documentation;

·        Trip planning using GPRS; Conduct Pre-trip and in-route inspection;

·        Safely secure the load, Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, fuel receipts; Receive and relay information to dispatcher;

·        Oversee Loading and unloading of loads;

·        Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes;

·        May drive as part of a two-person team or convoy ;

·        Perform other related duties.

 

  Requirements: Class-I   Driver’s license or equivalent
