Description
The Marketing Coordinator works under the direction of the General Manager, Food Service Director and Corporate Marketing Managers. The Marketing Coordinator supports all critical business initiatives including sales growth, market penetration, customer retention, quality image, improved margins, Aramark technology and vending solutions, and market share for their campus and Aramark Higher Education.
We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator for our clients. You will report to 2500 University Dr NW, Calgary, AB T2N 1N4, Canada, but you will be required to work at various locations across the region.

JOB DUTIES:
Analyze product and service characteristics to determine marketing and advertising needs, then design and plan campaigns well in advance to ensure effective execution.
Communicate marketing priorities to key stakeholders and coordinate cohesive initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and local communities.
Act as a spokesperson for the organization and respond to written and verbal inquiries.
Develop, implement, and analyze digital and direct marketing strategies for campaigns.
Create and manage social media content, schedule posts, and respond to customer engagement.
Maintain a social media calendar and conduct post-campaign analysis.
Manage and maintain technology and vending solutions, including digital menus and POS systems.
Recruit and manage volunteers and ambassadors for events and campaigns.
Strategize, design, and order promotional materials and marketing collateral.
Ensure consistent pricing and signage through location audits.
Propose and coordinate retail deals, vendor promotions, and campus-wide events.
Support meal plan sales and collaborate with university departments for campus promotions.
Organize and manage sampling events, information tabling, and other promotional activities.
Develop and maintain event calendars, supporting university events and initiatives.
Assist with catering marketing, including planning and executing event promotions.
Educate and guide the food service team on marketing roles and responsibilities.
Conduct surveys to gauge public opinion and stakeholder interests.
Prepare reports, briefs, presentations, websites, and press releases for various initiatives.
Plan, coordinate, and manage workshops, meetings, ceremonies, and other events for publicity.
Prerequisites:
Education: College Diploma in business or marketing or a discipline related to a particular subject matter is required.
Language: English
Experience: 2 years less than 3 years of experience.
Annual Salary: $57,000 to $ 60,000 annually for 30 to 40 hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Previous IT experience a vital asset
Strong organizational and time management skills required.
The ability to communicate in an appropriate, clear, and concise manner with customers, clients, employees and leadership.
Ability to immerse yourself and become part of the college community is essential.
Consistent outstanding customer service
Advanced level in the use of MS Office Suite and Adobe Suite are required.
Advanced level in using social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
