Gigi Importing Is Hiring: Material Handlers (2)
Location: 35 Armthorpe Rd, Brampton, ON
Salary: $18/ hr. ( 40 hours/week) May be required to work on weekends
Extended health care benefits after 6 months
Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience:1 year to less than 2 years
Specific Skills: Weigh materials and goods; Store cargo and materials; Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment; Make labels and attach to goods; Pack and unpack goods; Sort, crate and stack goods, build pallets
Work Setting: Warehouse
Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Dollies and hand trucks
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Repetitive tasks; Physically demanding; Attention to detail; Hand-eye co-ordination; Bending, crouching, kneeling
