Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: $28.00 Hourly, for 40.00 Hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: 187 James Street S , Hamilton , Ontario, L8R-3A8
Education: Completion of a 2-3 year college program in engineering design and drafting technology or in a related field is required.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field is required.
Languages: Full proficiency in English mandatory, proficiency in Spanish is an asset
Duties:
• Design and drafting of mechanical systems and components
• Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data
• Coordinate with the engineering team and other design disciplines as required
• Assist with engineering analysis, evaluations, designs, and implementation for mechanical systems
• Work through construction support issues with design team and contractors
• Supervise and train other technologists, technicians and drafters
