Position: Nail Care Technician
Working Hours: 30 – 35 hours per week, 5 days per week
Wage: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Main duties
- Recommend various nail designs and nail art to clients
- Evaluate the condition of client’s nail and advising them on proper nail care and suitable nail care treatment
- Provide quality hand massages
- Maintain a healthy, clean and safe working environment
- Give nail and toenail treatments using specialized products and techniques
- Apply artificial nails
- Apply new polish based on clients’ preferences
- Remove old nail polish from fingernails and toenails, cleaning nails, shaping the ends of nails, pushing back cuticles
Employment Requirements
- Completion of secondary school is required
- Completion of college or beauty school programs for manicurists and pedicurists is preferred
- At least 1 year of work experience in nail shop industry is required
- Supervisory experience is an asset
- Must have Manicure, Pedicure (including gel polish application), UV Gel Extension, Nail Art Design skills
