Next Level Childcare Society Royal Bay is seeking Full-Time Early Childhood Educators
Position Info:
- Position: Early Childhood Educator
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $21.00~$24.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 6
- Work Location: 200-345 Latoria Boulevard, Colwood, BC V9C 4L8

Job Duties:
- Establish and implement child-care programs which support and promote children’s cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development
- Assess the abilities, interest, and needs of children
- Discuss the progress or problems with parents and other staff
- Plan and lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, or taking children to local points of interest
- Establish and keep the environment protecting children’s health, security, and well-being
- Detect any signs of potential learning or behaviour problems of children, and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisor
- Guide and assist children developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- Build collaborative relationship with co-workers and community service providers working with children
Job requirements:
- Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required
- Experience: Experience is an asset
- Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate, and E.C.E. Certificate
- Language: English
