Description
Position: Dental Technician
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $23-30/hour (Depending on experience)
Hours: 30-40 hours/week
Benefits:
· 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
· Prepare plaster models, moulds, wax bite-blocks and impression trays
· Train and supervise other dental laboratory assistants
· Create and polish metal framework of dentures to obtain natural finish
· Mould wax over denture set-up to create artificial gums
· Pack plastic material in moulds to create dentures
· Design and repair various types of dental devices
· Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases
· Take role in administration for the dental laboratory
Job requirements:
· College/CEGEP in dental technology
OR
2 ~ 3 years of experience in dental technology industry
Language Requirements:
· English
