Oasiss CPA Corp. is hiring a F/T Tax Accountant.

Position Info:

• Position: Tax Accountant
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $38.46-$40.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-37.5 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: #950-1199 West Hastings St, Vancouver, BC V6E 3T5

Job Duties:

• Review and analyze clients’ bookkeeping records and financial documents to prepare accurate tax information.
• Examine financial statements to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with Canadian tax rules.
• Prepare and file personal and trust/estate tax returns, including T1, T3, T2125 and GST.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and monitor the accuracy of tax files and supporting documentation.
• Provide training on tax preparation procedures, accounting software, and updated CRA guidelines.
• Communicate with clients to clarify missing information and assist with CRA audits, notices, or reassessments.

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk are required.
• Education: Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field is required.
