Description

We are looking for an Operational Planning Director – Regional for Compliance Mentorz. The successful candidate will oversee regional operations and ensure strong compliance and safety performance for our clients across Western Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba).

Office Location: 10180 – 101 Street, Suite 3400, Edmonton, AB T5J 3S4, Canada

  • Lead and manage compliance operations within the Western Canada region, focusing on transportation safety, occupational health, and regulatory compliance

  •  Plan, organize, and direct operational functions to ensure consistent application of compliance and safety standards across all locations.

  •  Oversee risk management practices, develop regional compliance strategies, and ensure adherence to federal and provincial legislation.

  • Coordinate and manage the performance of regional teams to ensure compliance objectives are achieved efficiently.

  • Review and approve reports, audits, and documentation related to transportation and workplace safety.

  • Collaborate with clients and internal departments to identify operational gaps and implement safety improvement measures.

  •  Monitor regional KPIs, prepare management and audit reports, and present performance summaries to senior leadership

  •  Provide mentorship and guidance to compliance officers and field staff, fostering a culture of safety, responsibility, and accountability.

  •  Ensure all company policies, procedures, and government regulations are consistently followed across the region.

  •  Represent Compliance Mentorz at meetings and training sessions across different provinces as required.

Prerequisites:

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience & Skills:
5 years or more of relevant work experience in the compliance and safety industry.

  • Proven ability to lead regional operations teams.

  • Strong knowledge of Canadian occupational health, transportation, and safety regulations.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
     

License:
Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle 

Language:
English

 


 

Hourly Rate: $57.69 per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Full-time and permanent
