(Operations Supervisor)

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor for our clients. You will work at 1201-15th Avenue Didsbury Alberta, T0M 0W0, Canada. However, you will be required to work at various locations across the region in Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for the operation of food services, housekeeping, and resident laundry in a supportive living environment.
Organizes/delegates preparation and delivery of resident and client catered functions.
Performs/delegates quarterly Food Safe Audit and monthly Housekeeping Audits.
Supervises and coordinates the work of Housekeeping and Laundry Services.
Inspects resident rooms and facilities daily to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met.
Attends Family Information sessions, ARAMARK meetings, and functions.
Performs/delegates all work in accordance with Client and ARAMARK policies and procedures, including quality assurance and Health & Safety initiatives.
Participates in Human Resources functions, including recruiting, training, coaching, scheduling, payroll, and employee performance management.
Organizes/delegates regular staff meetings along with the manager.
Displays a polite, spirit-of-service attitude toward customers and co-workers, maintaining a friendly, efficient, and responsive attitude toward clients and residents.
Investigates resident, family, and employee concerns and complaints with a focus on follow-up and appropriate resolution.
Investigates/delegates all employee injuries and near misses, with a focus on prevention of future incidents.
Establishes work schedules and procedures and coordinates activities with other departments.
Resolves work-related problems and prepares and submits progress and other reports.
May perform the same duties as workers supervised.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (high) school certificate or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $29.11 to $37.00 per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
