We are looking for a “Packaging supervisor – food and beverage processing” for Sweets from the Earth located at 101 Canarctic Drive, North York, ON M3J 2N7, Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Oversee daily activities of workers in processing, packaging, testing, and grading healthy baked goods. 

  • Develop and maintain work schedules to meet production demands.

  • Ensure packaging processes adhere to quality standards and food safety regulations. 

  • Resolve issues and conflicts to improve efficiency and product quality. 

  • Collaborate with other departments for streamlined processes and timely delivery. 

  • Manage inventory of packaging materials and supplies. 

  • Train employees on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies. 

  • Recommend personnel actions like hiring, promotions, and disciplinary measures. 

  • Generate and maintain production and efficiency reports. 

  • Oversee operation and maintenance of packaging equipment. 

  • May perform other duties reasonably assigned. 


 

Prerequisites:

 

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years.

Language English


 

Hourly Rate: $27 to $35 per hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent

Benefits:  4 % Vacation Pay
