Jaamreno Design Inc. is looking for a Painter.

Location: 2428 Islington Ave suite 2038, Etobicoke, ON, M9W 3X8

Hours: 40 hours per week, permanent position 

Payrate: $35.00/Hour

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Job Duties:

• Identifying quantities required to complete each task.
• Preparing and cleaning surfaces for painting using methods such as scraping, sanding, sandblasting, hydro-blasting, and steam-cleaning.
• Removing old paint coating or wallpaper.
• Repairing cracks and holes in walls.
• Applying various finishes such as primers or sealers to surfaces.
• Mixing colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency.
• Applying paint, wallpaper, or other materials such as stains, lacquer or varnish to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Assembling and disassembling scaffolding for larger jobs.
• Moving necessary materials around jobsite as assigned and clean brushes, spray nozzles, and all other equipment at the end of your shift.
• Ensuring compliance to agreed codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safety.
