Painter Helper

Description

Linear Painting Ltd is looking for a full-time and permanent 1 Painter in Abbotsford, BC, V2S 1Y4. (Even though this is a full-time position we encourage part time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is 39.00/hr and 35 to 40 hours/week.

• Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and high-quality finishes.
• Repair cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections prior to painting.
• Mix paints and coatings to achieve specified colors, textures, and finishes.
• Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper, vinyl, and other decorative wall coverings.
• Advise clients on suitable color schemes, finishes, and wall covering options.
• Assemble and secure scaffolding, swing stages, and related rigging equipment in compliance with safety standards.
• Apply paint, varnish, stain, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Estimate material quantities, labor requirements, and overall project costs to support accurate quotations and efficient job planning.

Employment Requirements:
 

• Education:
• Completion of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience:

• Relevant Experience of 1-2 years is required.
