Description
Terms of Employment/Salary:
– Full-time (37 hrs per week)
– Permanent
– Regular day-time schedule
– $150.00/hour, 2 weeks annual vacation pay
Job Duties:
– Examine patients' teeth, gums and surrounding tissue to diagnose disease, injury and decay and plan appropriate treatment.
– Restore, extract and replace diseased and decayed teeth.
– Perform oral surgery, and other treatments.
– Clean teeth and instruct patients on oral hygiene.
– Supervise dental hygienists, dental assistants and other staff.
Skill Requirements (including language, education and work experience):
– English
– Doctor of Dentistry Degree
– Postgraduate specialization in Pediatric Dentistry
– National Dental Examining Board of Canada Certification
– Minimum 3 to less than 5 years of experience in Pediatric Dentistry
– Excellent oral communication, organized, takes initiative, team player, reliable
