Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
4th Period Apprentice; 1st Period Apprentice; 2nd Period Apprentice; 3rd Period Apprentice; First Aid Certificate; Steamfitter and Pipefitter Trade Certification
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Specific Skills
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
Work Setting: Industrial

Fast-paced environment; Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Attention to detail; Hand-eye co-ordination; Standing for extended periods; Bending, crouching, kneeling; Tight deadlines

- Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size;
- Select type and size of pipe required;
- Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system
