Position: Production Supervisor – Food and beverage processing

Hours: 40 hours per week

Hourly Wage: $24.50 to 26.00(depending on experience)

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Benefits: 4% of vacation fee

Working location: 78 East 2^nd Avenue, Vancouver BC V5T 1B1

Glory Organic Juice provides manufacturing and selling organic juice to retail and wholesale businesses. We are currently seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to join our juice production team.

MAIN DUTIES:

• Plan, organize, and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve work problems promptly, implementing measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Requisition materials and supplies needed for production operations, ensuring adequate inventory levels are maintained.
• Prepare production reports and other relevant documentation to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Train and mentor staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to maintain a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of secondary school
• Minimum 2 years of recent work experience in a similar role in food/beverage production
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a diverse team
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Food certificate preferred
• Experience with Organic produce an asset
