Description
Position: Line Cook
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $15- $20 /hour (depending on Experience)
Working Hour: 30 – 40 hours/week
Benefits:
- 4% vacation pay
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares and cook variety of seafood dishes and desserts
- Suggest ideas on new menu, regulate the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs
- Order kitchen supplies and equipment
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas every day
- Always keep kitchen and food preparation area clean and sanitized
- Supervise kitchen helpers in their job duties and food preparation
- Train and instruct other kitchen helpers in preparation, cooking and handling food items
Job Requirements:
- 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
Educational Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required
