Providentia Consulting Limited is an established consulting firm specializing in the HR systems configuration, system review & analysis and change management.  With a focus on Canadian & US payroll, time-tracking, absence management, and report writing, Providentia has earned a reputation for quality and dedication in the HR Systems management sector.  

Based out of Whitby Ontario, Providentia is seeking a self-motivated Technical Support Analyst with related Customer Service experience in an IT environment to join their team.  Basic training on Providentia’s HR System will be provided.

The successful candidate will be responsible to support systems users experiencing difficulties with hardware or software, and computer applications.

This would be an excellent opportunity for someone with experience to establish their career with a reputable supermarket. 

Job Duties:

·       Manage various user/client tasks on our HR System (Workday Human Capital Management system);

·       Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced;

·       Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions;

·       Reproduce, diagnose and resolve technical problems encountered by users;

·       Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties;

·       Provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties;

·       Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts;

Qualifications:

  • Completion of College Courses in IT networking or a minimum of 1 year IT Technical Support Service experience is required.  
  • Good time management skills;
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent communicator with a focus in quality baking.
