Reservations Supervisor

We are seeking a “Reservations Supervisor” for Quality Inn Leamington located at 279 Erie St. South Leamington, ON N8H 3C4 Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing the daily operations of the front desk and supervise staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests.
Preparing and adjusting weekly work schedules/reports to the general manager and assigning work duties to staff.
Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
Overseeing that guests are welcomed and registered into the hotel and assigned an appropriate room swiftly.
Meets and exceeds guest expectations by ensuring team provides positive and courteous service and teamwork.
Ensuring that current information on rates, packages and promotions is available at the front desk and that all the staff are knowledgeable on such.
Managing and maintaining front desk computer system, equipment and supplies, ensuring all is ready for service, resolving problems and calling headquarters for support if required.
Minimizes safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures.
Monitoring and ensuring that all cashiering procedures comply with accounting policies and standards.
Responsible for knowing emergency procedures and following all standard operating procedures.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Prerequisites:

Education: High school or equivalent.

Experience & Skills: 1 years to less than 2 years of experience

Language: English

Annual Salary: $53,500 – $56,000 for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent

Benefits: 4 % vacation pay,
