We are now looking for a Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team!
Main duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service in all dining areas
- Establish the standards of service offered and implement appropriate operating procedures
- Hire, train, and manage restaurant staff to maintain high performance and service quality
- Create and manage staff schedules while monitoring productivity and adherence to standards
- Manage inventory levels and adjust pricing or procedures as needed to maximize profitability
- Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Coordinate with suppliers to secure quality food and beverage products and maintain favorable terms
- Organize and negotiate catering services or private event bookings, including banquets and receptions
Employment Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, is required.
- Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is a plus.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Flexible availability for weekends and holidays is required.
