Description
Position: Restaurant Cook
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $16 ~ $23 per hour (depending on experience)
Working hours
- 30 – 40 hours per week
Benefits:
- 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Ideal candidate should prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food.
- Candidate should be able to schedule, training and supervise kitchen helpers.
- Candidate need to be good at multitasking such as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and overseeing kitchen operations.
- As a cook, candidate should be able to estimate food requirement and costs.
- Candidates should inspect kitchen and food service area.
- Candidates may assist management team in recruitment and hiring of new staff.
- Candidate is required to clean work areas, including kitchen.
Job requirements:
- 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
Educational Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school
Language Requirement:
- English
