Restaurant Manager

Yoon Cinnamon Centre Ltd. DBA Umami Sushi in Surrey, BC is looking for a skilled and experienced Full-time, Permanent Restaurant Manager.

Conditions:

Position: Restaurant Manager (Full-Time, Permanent position)
Hourly Wage: $25.00-$26.00/hour (wage to be determined based on experience and skills)
Working hours: 40 hours per week
Ability to do shift work (daytime, evenings, weekends and holidays)
Vacation: 10 days paid holidays per year or 4% gross salary
Position Available: 1

Requirements:

Experience: 3 years or more of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience
Applicants from other provinces will also be considered
Language: English

Business information

Job Duties:

Manage kitchen staffs and co-ordinate food orders
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the kitchen operations of restaurant and food and beverage services
Recruit and train kitchen staff and oversee kitchen staff training
Supervise food prep and cooking
Set kitchen staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices, price menu items in collaboration with the restaurant manager
Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
